This would be their last magic before the witches parted for marauding. The Rowdy Witch had a rabbit. The Cruel Witch had a rabbit. The rabbits were great friends to them.

                The rabbit became great friends with each other, too.

                The Rowdy Witch said, ‘I’ll drop this leaf into the cauldron. If the Flying Broom pops up by magic, I win, and I will take your rabbit along with the broom. If your leaf starts the magic, then you can take mine with the broom’.

                The Cruel Witch triumphed, but started snivelling, ‘Oh, Rowdy Witch, you’ll be left friendless, now’.
